This year's course map is changing from in years past.
All boats will put in at Prospect Park near the start. Parking is available there
as well as complimentary breakfast and beverages for the crews.
The finish can be reached by vehicle. In normal years, the start is located in front
of the Des Moines Botanical Center just north of I-235.
Viewing areas are generally from most points along the Birdland and Neal Smith trail
system on the East bank of the Des Moines River.
